Logistics Grand Prize

Professor Lim Suk-chul (Industrial & Information Systems Engineering) received
the 2008 Korea Logistics Grand Prize in the sector of academic research for
his conspicuous role in establishment of academic theories and application of
them to the logistics industry at the ceremony held at Yonsei University on
May 2.
Since 1998, the Korea Logistics Society (President: Kim Tae-hyun,
Yonsei University, Dean of College of Business & Economics) has awarded
the annual prizes to those, individuals or businesses, that made conspicuous
contribution to development of the logistics industry. Other prize-winners were
Hanjin Shipping and Samsung Tesco (in the sector of business), Shinsegae President
Suk Gang and CJ GLS President Min Byung-gyu (in the sector of business manager).
